Warmly greeted by the cheerful marketing team and soon joined by iron chefs from the kitchen, we felt nothing short of pampered by their hospitality. "Along with the Kolkata Food Bloggers Group we had the fortuity to satiate through the gourmet indulgence in the Swissotel Kolkata's Sea Food Sensation scheduled from 15th to 26th January, 2014.

The Seafood Sensation was a perspicuous expression of an exquisite dining experience that was augmented with an extraordinary hospitality. Along with our wonderful hosts Enakshi, Maya and Anuj Bidani we had the added opportunity of having Chef Sanjay and Chef Mahesh, specializing in pastries and sea food respectively, interact exclusively with us and explain elaborately the intricacy of the seafood and the dessert selection."
"Well then, let me come to the point right away. We use the term "foodgasm" very often on the social networks...but then what is it's true implication? "Think less and eat more" - Says a foodie alright...hence this 'dual escapade' into the domain of gorging and 'euphoric scrutiny'; it is of course a Win-Win situation. The prospect of a Bloggers' Table being set up at the connoisseur's hub, Swissotel Kolkata....was alluring to the core. "A chill wintery evening lured the KFB table members to esteem the invitation came from the Swissotel, Kolkata to sample their "Seafood Festival". Seafood is always my weakness and the invitation made me excited to experience a focused journey, mainly where one could witness a face to face conversation with the chefs. It’s a long drive from my place to reach Newtown. Thankfully I have one of the KFBians to give me company and make the long way shortest with all the chitchats and giggles dominated the mechanical traffic sounds echoing all around us. After reaching Swissotel, we were warmly welcomed by the Team Swissotel. Their cordial gestures made us to sit comfortably and at ease. Soon we were offered Juice/Tea/coffee to satisfy our quenched heart and no later the other 3 KFBians joined the group. And the journey of the "Seafood Sensation" started and it would never end, if we didn't have the rush to again cover the long drive and reach back home safely late at night."
